  • An organisation is eligible to participate in the Infinite Space Ecosystem if it is directly involved in the development, supply, integration, deployment, operation, or use of technologies, systems, products, services, or capabilities that fall within at least one of three core technology domains: Space software systems, Space hardware systems and Design, Engineering & Manufacturing

  • Organisations developing, supplying, integrating, deploying, operating or using software and digital technologies for space and space-enabled applications. Including digital intelligence, computing, communications, data and operational technologies that enable space systems and space-enabled industries. Capabilities include artificial intelligence and AI analytics, data and intelligence platforms, cloud and edge computing, on-orbit and space-enabled computing, quantum computing and communications, satellite and network software, mission operations, flight software, autonomous systems, robotics, guidance, navigation and control, remote operations, digital twins and simulation, space-domain awareness, space traffic management, Earth observation and geospatial analytics, navigation, positioning and timing, cybersecurity, and secure and resilient communications systems.

  • Organisations developing, supplying, integrating, deploying, operating or using the physical technologies, platforms and infrastructure used to access, operate in, communicate through and utilise space. Capabilities include satellites and spacecraft, payloads, launch sites, launch vehicles and launch systems, ground infrastructure and gateway stations, space transportation and logistics systems, orbital infrastructure, space communications systems, satellite-to-cell and satellite-to-device technologies, RF and antenna systems, optical and laser communications, sensors and instruments, advanced propulsion, hypersonic systems, re-entry and recovery systems, in-space servicing, payload hosting and lifetime-extension systems, intelligent robotics and autonomous hardware, space grade-power and energy systems, radiation protection, space habitats, space-based infrastructure and other resilient space systems.

  • Organisations providing the engineering, design, manufacturing, materials, integration, testing or industrial capabilities required to conceive, design, engineer, develop, prototype, manufacture, integrate, test, qualify and industrialise space and space-enabled technologies and systems. Capabilities include systems engineering, aerospace and spacecraft design, mechanical, electrical, electronics, RF, thermal, propulsion and power engineering, industrial and product design, advanced and precision manufacturing, additive manufacturing, materials innovation, composites and advanced materials, electronics and component manufacturing, prototyping, assembly and integration, testing and qualification, environmental and thermal-vacuum testing, manufacturing automation, production engineering, digital engineering, model-based systems engineering, quality assurance, reliability engineering and the development of specialised infrastructure, equipment and processes for space technology production.

Membership.

Access is intentionally selective and Membership is competitive, application-based, and limited.

At an annual membership fee of AUD $5,000 + GST, pro-rata, organisations should expect opportunities and returns that can significantly exceed the cost of membership through:

The Application Process

Step 1 — Expression of Interest

The membership application process begins when we receive your Expression of Interest (EOI). You must be precise and clear as you fill the EOI form

Step 2 — Internal Merit Review

Following receipt of the EOI, an independent internal review committee conducts an initial review of the submission.

The purpose of this review is to establish whether the organisation demonstrates sufficient merit and relevance to proceed to the formal membership assessment.

Step 3 — Membership Admission Assessment

Applications that pass the initial merit review are assessed against five admission criteria.

i. Technical Capability — 25%

ii. Commercial Capability — 20%

iii. Strategic Fit — 20%

iv. Innovation — 15%

v. Collaboration Potential — 20%

You will need to score atleast 51% for an acceptance outcome

Step 4 — Additional Information & Review

Where required, we may request additional information to support the assessment. A Company Officer or appropriate representative from the applicant organisation may also be invited to an interview.

The purpose of an interview is to enable us to understand how an applicant organisation is fit for Membership to the Ecosystem

Step 5 — Membership Decision

Following assessment, the committee will determine whether the organisation is suitable for admission to the Infinite Space Ecosystem.

We strive to provide an initial outcome within 5–21 business days from receipt of a complete application, subject to the complexity of the application and any additional information required.

Where additional information, clarification, or an interview is required, the assessment period may be extended.

Infinite Space strives to close all membership cases within a maximum of 60 days.

With an Acceptance Outcome

Successful applicants will receive confirmation of their admission to the Infinite Space Ecosystem.

Following acceptance:

1. Membership confirmation
You will receive formal confirmation of your membership.

2. Membership invoice
An annual membership invoice of AUD $5,000 + GST pro rata will be issued.

3. Membership payment
Membership becomes effective following payment of the applicable annual membership fee.

4. Ecosystem onboarding
Following payment, your organisation will undergo onboarding into the Infinite Space Ecosystem.

Onboarding may include:

  • Organisation and capability profiling

  • Identification of strategic objectives

  • Identification of partnership and commercial priorities

  • Mapping of relevant Ecosystem opportunities

  • Introduction to relevant members and stakeholders

  • Integration into applicable Ecosystem activities and initiatives

  • Establishment of appropriate points of contact

The objective is to ensure that each member enters the Ecosystem with a clear understanding of where it can create value, where it can access value, and which relationships and opportunities should be prioritised.

With a Rejection

If an application is rejected, the applicant will be notified of the outcome.

Applicants may request a review of the decision.

Where a review is requested, we may appoint a Case Officer to manage the review process and act as the principal point of contact for the applicant.

The Case Officer may request additional information or clarification and, where appropriate, arrange an interview with a Company Officer or other authorised representative of the organisation.

The purpose of the review is to ensure that the organisation has been appropriately considered and that any relevant information has been considered.

Infinite Space strives to close all review cases within a maximum of 60 days.
